Ammonium Sulfate
Ammonium sulfate fertilizer is a physiological acid fertilizer containing 21% ammonium nitrogen and 24% sulfur. It is also known as ‘Sugar Fertilizer’ among farmers because it looks like crystal sugar. Since the nitrogen in their structure is in ammonium form, it is not lost by being washed from the soil and is effective for a long time. The sulfur in the sulfate form in their structure is in a position to completely meet the needs of plants. Since it will acidify the environment when dissolved in the soil, it increases the uptake of micronutrients in calcareous and high pH soils.
