AS (Ammonium Sulphate)
21% Nitrogen (N) 24% Sulfur (S) Ammonium Sulfate fertilizer is a fertilizer that contains 21% nitrogen (N) in the form of ammonium (NH4) and 24% sulfur (S) in the form of sulfate (SO4) that plants can absorb. It is also known as “sugar fertilizer” among farmers because its crystal structure resembles sugar. The sulfur in the form of sulfate in its structure is in a position to completely meet the needs of plants. As in all base (pre-planting) fertilizers, it increases the plant’s phosphorus uptake because its nitrogen is in the form of ammonium (NH4).
